Manuscript Editing in the Life Sciences

BE CONFIDENT IN YOUR SUBMISSION

The vast majority of scientific papers are published in English, which can present a challenge for authors who are not native English speakers.  That’s where I come in.  My language-editing service helps ensure that the high quality of an author’s research is not lost as a result of grammatical errors or language issues.  My personalized services provide authors with the confidence that journal reviewers will be able to evaluate their manuscripts based on the merits of their science.

RECEIVE THE GIFT OF TIME

Manuscript review at a journal is a lengthy process, often involving long waiting periods, resubmissions, and several rounds of revision with reviewers. Thus, each submission represents a significant amount of time for authors. I help streamline the review process by offering authors Scientific Pre-reviews — expert, peer-review feedback prior to submitting to a journal.  Pre-reviews ensure that the premise for the work is framed clearly, that the methods are complete, and that analyses are clear and well justified. This service prevents reviewers from rejecting manuscripts simply because sufficient detail was lacking — truly giving authors the gift of time.
